We had a meeting with our Mommy/Baby group last Monday. It was a lot of fun (as always)! These meetings are so much more valuable than the other ones that are organized by the commune.

The weekend

On Thursday Maya and I went to a "parent meeting" but it was at the wrong time/wrong place (as usual when it comes to them stupid parent meetings) Maya was tired, crying, so we left to go shopping :)

On Friday we went to the swimminghall with Linn & Tuva. It was so nice!

Before swimming I had a go at skiing 4km.

On Saturday we went to a party at Paulina and Marcins place.

Walks

Maya likes the pram now finally. We are trying to go out once every day. This week we managed 17 km so far :)

Standing up a lot

There is NO rest for Mommy. Up and down, down and up again. Maya is super active in the daytime, and at night she eat every 1.5 hours... So I sleep? Hmm, njaa, I sleep 45 min, kick, 45 min sleep, then kicking harder, 20 min, milk, 20 min need to pee, 45 min feed and so it goes on. I constantly check the time. Its been a long while since its been at least 2 hours since the last check...

Time goes way too fast

I have heard a million times that time goes fast when you have kids, but I did not expect it to go THIS fast! My God! I remember Maya being a tiny tiny baby like it was yesterday, and now she can stand up and everything.
Today she has been stood up in the sofa by herself! Nothing to hold on to. Just for a few seconds though, but still!
My Mom said that she was walking when she was 9 months and that I was walking at 10-12 months. We will have to wait and see when Maya decides it is time to start walking. I mean walking! Oioi, she just learned how to sit...haha!

I got Maya a new bed. We have had some troubles with the crib. As soon as we put her in it she screames like mad, and I mean like MAD! We still have the crib on the other side of our bed, but we barely use it. With this new bed I can push her into it after a night feed. That is good because it is almost impossible to get any sleep lying next to her. She kicks and punches you in her sleep :/ Sometimes it is cute, sometimes it is really annoying, haha!

Last Sunday I was at my cousin Erikas place. It was her bithday. We had a lot of fun and Maya was playing.

Today has been Mikes first day back at work after the three week holiday over Christmas. Poor man could not get any sleep last night because Maya was awake :/ and he had to get up at 4.30 am. Maya did not go to sleep until 00:40 am. Way too late...
She is a little night owl, just like her Mom :)
Normally she goes to bed around 22pm, and we get up around 09am. She does not sleep whole nights though. Every two hours she wakes up and wants cuddles and sometimes also more milk. I dont think I have slept more than 2-3 hours straight in about 4 months...But its all good anyway :)

I must tell you about our "Mother/Baby group". We are 8 women that all had babies in April-June 2012. We met online and started going for coffees etc while we where all pregnant. They are all a great support. We can talk about everything, especially babies of course. :) We all live around Kalmar area, and every now and then we met up for lunch at eachothers homes. It is brilliant and a lot of fun. Its great for us as mothers and also for the babies to meet and play together.

Maya 8 months

Maya is now already 8 months old. She has just learned to stand up, but she still needs to hold on to something. I bet she soon will walk. Crazy, she was only a small baby just a minute ago...

Christmas & New Year

Christmas and New Years have already past. Time goes too quick!
We had a fantastic time :) Christmas Eve was spent at my Moms in the daytime and at my Dads/Karins in the evening. On Christmas Day we had dinner at our house.

On New Years Eve we had a three course meal at Veronica and Roberts new house. It was a really nice and fun evening.

2 years since last chemotheraphy treatment

I remember two years ago like it was yesterday. Christmas was coming up, I had just finished all my treatments and it was now "just" a matter of waiting for THE scan. Everyone said "It´s finally over, you have no more treatments and it´s all good..." but I was feeling worse than ever, because now I could not do anything else then to wait, and such a long wait it became. 3 months!
Then finally on the 28:th of February 2011 the doctors told me that the cancer was gone. Magical news!
Since then I have been on a numerus check ups. The first year every 3 months, then every 6 months.
Last week I went for another one. This time my doctor told me that the risk of a relapse is very slim :) That felt good to hear.
Now it fels like the future is everything :)

Time goes too quick! Maya is now 7 months old already and I am sorry but I just do not have the time to write so much in this blog at the moment. Perheps I can wtite a bit now in the coming weeks because Mike has got 3 weeks of work :)

Maya is a fast learner. She can sit up and crawl, and she started to try her voice out more and more. She can also grip two items and play together etc. She is also eating more and more food, less and less milk :)
Right now she is in the process of learning to stand up, she likes to grab hold of things and she is trying to pull herself up towards it.
We have made her room into a play area. She loves it!

Maya 4 months

Sorry that it has been such a long time since I have updated the blog. I have been so busy. Maya takes up all my time, but I love it! Here are some more pictures of my sweety!
